"ANTARCTICA"

Dear Friends,

Yes . . . that is what it felt like, in the snow and wind, these past couple of days -- deeply invigorating!!

In addition to experiencing the great outdoors, we have continued to challenge both the Butterflies and Puppies during Activity Time and many other times throughout the day.

A few highlights of Wednesday were enjoying hot chocolate, listening and responding to the Silly Sally story cards, creating a story around Winnie the Pooh characters and reading "I Love You Forever", which I read to my own son, many years ago . . . Special thanks to Mrs. Dolham!!

A few highlights of Thursday were playing a more sophisticated version of "the missing officer", hanging up our Circle Center, (thank you, Miss Downing!!), role-playing "There was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly", complete with a puppet and soft fabric characters, playing "Wonder Ball" and "Alice the Camel", (thank you, Mrs. Goell !!), and, utilizing pipe cleaners to make festive ornaments for the tree and enjoying winter-themed coloring projects.

Tomorrow, our own Minuteman C & T HS Students will put their talents to work, having designed and implemented their own activities, specially prepared for our little ones -- thank you, ladies!!!!

The Scholastic Book order forms are now in mailboxes, with a due date of December 14, (Monday).

Have a wonderful night, and, we look very forward to seeing you in the morning!!

Love Miss Peacock XOXO
