More Good News about Scholastic Books!!

Happy Sunday, All,

The October Scholastic Book Order is in the mail, and, I have begun the process to order, on-line, effective in November -- by utilizing Scholastic's on-line resources, families will receive additional free books -- yet another means to building a wonderfully tailored and inexpensive home library -- I will keep you posted!!

The CDC is officially registered, on Eli Manning's Team, for the Reading Challenge -- of what I know to have been read, at School, we are close to 60 of the 100 books to be finished by mid-December. When our goal has been met, we will have helped to donate one million books to needy children -- I plan to hang the poster, tracking books, tomorrow.

With our recently earned bonus points, we have been able to order a set of Science Vocabulary Readers, "Stone Soup" and "A Pocketful of Kisses", for our Classroom!!
