"OUR THANKSGIVING DAY FEAST!!"

Dear Families, Friends and Blog Followers,

Today was the last day of the Usborne Book Fair, and -- yes -- Miss Downing, (Director, Teacher and Bus Driver extraordinaire), drove all of us over to Minuteman's Library to attend said and make "wish lists" -- if you have any questions, at all, about ordering Usborne books, please see a CDC staff member -- thank you!!

While at "The Big School", the kids posed for a group photo in front of the "Mustang", which was fashioned by former Welding students, and, and, then, given festive cookies, to be enjoyed for dessert, compliments of the Bakery, for which we were very appreciative!!

we focused, primarily, on the celebration of Thanksgiving Day, today -- please ask your little ones if they remember the story, that Liz shared with us, of the wild turkey, found living on a highway in New Jersey, rescued, and currently residing at a zoo, there, with a (turkey) friend named "Gobbler" !!

We sang Five Little Turkeys, and, re-read Ten Little Turkeys, as well, played with our high school friends, outdoors, and, much, much more!!

Please know that there is a sign-up sheet, on the sign-in and out table, for contributions to our "Thanksgiving Day Feast", which will take place on Tuesday -- please feel free to ask questions, and/or make comments and/or suggestions!!

'GOBBLE GOBBLE!!!!"

Love Miss Peacock XOXO
