A WARM SUNDAY AFTERNOON

Dear All,

I do hope that you have enjoyed the week-end thus far -- what a glorious day, indeed!!

On Friday, the children continued viewing interesting shuttle lift-offs and rocket launches and had the opportunity to perform "five little spacemen", while practicing colors and counting spacemen, as there is now a visual aid, thanks to our high school friends, as aforementioned.

Amy (MM Post-Grad) planned and guided a mask-making project, with the children, and Sophie (MM C&THS) set-up an enriching activity time -- additionally -- Sarah (Wayland High) and Olivia, Kelly and Arianne (Lexington High) created and laminated wonderful new signage for our school -- thank you, ladies!!

The Butterflies are working diligently, with Miss Downing, on Handwriting Without Tears, now accompanied by manipulatives and music.

At afternoon meeting, I read "Leafman" (again!!) by Lois Ehlert, around which we are planning an (outdoor) art project, and, as I was leaving, Kelly was busy making chocolate chip cookies, for a special treat.

Please be reminded of a mid-week holiday and that, our much-loved Defne, will soon be moving to Washington, D.C., with her family . . . we are preparing a tea party, thanks to Kelly, for Defne, this week.

We look very forward to seeing you, all, again, beginning tomorrow!!

Love Miss Peacock XOXO
